i know it's only cocktober. i don't care. i nominate, for best song of the year, "ted" by clark. it would get top nomination for the century, except it's too fucking short.

that's the bittersweet nature of the best songs. they're always too short. i think that's part of the allure/greatness of a glorious pop song. they always leave you wanting more. (they can also lead to great 'crack factor,' wherein the listener is forced to re-play the song over and over.)
oh, yeah, major crack factor involved here. not all orgasmic songs are too short. i can name at least one of my faves that's at least 11 minutes long. what a ride that is, every single time...
